Les noisettes, elles se trouvent en Alsace tous les ans en Septembre.

En prévision de l'hiver, quand les soirées se font plus longues.

When autumn comes, the squirrels pick up their nuts... and so does Nataliejo  :-)

Nuts are to be found in Alsace, France, every year in September (=quilt market).

To get ready for winter and longer evenings.

Ces souvenirs de Sainte Marie aux Mines sont très précieux pour moi . J'ai passé un moment merveilleux avec mes amies. Et je voudrais remercier Hélène, Mireille et Carole pour les rêves partagés :-)

Summer Picnic

Stitch Me Club 2012 - Part 1

Et voilà les premiers points !
Here are the first stitches ! 
 

Juste dans les temps, je viens de recevoir la partie 2 !! LOL

Right on time, I have just received part 2 !! LOL

Pour ma part, je brode avec les fils nuancés sur une toile de lin Permin 16 fils... sur un fil et au petit point (= demi-point de croix).

Alors c'est tout riquiqui !!  J'adooore !

As for me, I am stitching with the overdyed threads on a 40ct Wichelt linen... over one thread using a tent stitch (= half a cross-stitch).
And it is sooo tiny !!  I *LOVE* it !

Blueberry Muffins

Petite gourmandise d'été...

Recette à noter dans vos carnets / Recipe to write down in your notebooks :

-Quelques myrtilles / A few blueberries
-160g Farine / Flour
-80g sucre + 1 sachet sucre vanillé / 80g Sugar + 1 sachet vanilla sugar
-1 sachet levure chimique / Baking powder
-1 oeuf + 1 jaune / 1 egg + 1 yolk
-60g beurre ramolli / Soft butter
-9cl lait / milk
-pincée de sel / pinch of salt

Mélanger la farine, la levure et le sel. Ajouter oeufs battus avec le sucre et le sucre vanillé.
Compléter avec le beurre et le lait.
Dans votre moule à muffins, remplir les alvéoles de pâte à 1/3, mettre quelques myrtilles, puis compléter avec la pâte.
Enfourner 30mn à 190°C.

 Laisser tiédir avant de vous régaler !

Et avec des abricots, c'est délicieux aussi !
Alors, prêts à tester ? Je l'espère !

Quant à moi, je retourne à mon aiguille  :-)

Place the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and stir well. Add eggs beaten with caster sugar and vanilla sugar. Then add soft butter and milk.
Fill your muffin pan cups with batter up to 1/3. Spoon a few berries then fill each cup with more batter.
Bake for 30mn at 190°C.

Leave to cool down before enjoying !

And it is as delicious with apricots ! 
Ready to give it a try ??  I hope so !

As for me, I am off to pick my needle up  :-)
